Please make plans to join the Venture Investors Association of New York for a breakfast program with panel discussion that will examine the looming carried interest tax legislation, which, if passed, would require private funds to pay the same tax rate that corporations and individuals pay on income.

This VIANY event will feature two expert speakers who will outline the implications for VIANY member companies if this legislation moves forward -- Phillip Gall, a New York based tax partner at Cooley Godward Kronish and Thomas Stout, Director of Federal Tax Legislative and Regulatory Services, KPMG LLP in Washington, D.C.
